Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to get custom villagers in Minecraft that can trade anything you want. It’s really simple and pretty straightforward. This video is specifically for Java Edition, so unfortunately, this will not work on Bedrock Edition—only Java Edition. So without further ado, let’s get straight into it! First of all, we will be using an online generator. The link will be in the description below, and I’ll teach you how to use it. It’s very simple to use, and you’ll also need a command block. So first, let’s get a command block. I’m going to use the command: `/give @p command_block`. Now the next step is to go to the generator. I’ll press F11, and you’ll see that I have it already up here. Let me drag this across. This is on Dig Minecraft, and there will be a link in the description, so make sure you don’t go to the wrong link. This is such a cool website; I have to say, it’s pretty awesome! It has a whole bunch of generation options, and it makes command generation so simple. I’ll leave this in the description below. Also, if you are using a different version of Minecraft, make sure to use one of these links here. For example, if you’re still on 1.16, make sure to click the 1.16 link. Now, let’s go through the custom generation settings. Through this generator, you can give it a custom name, select villager options, and all that stuff. I’ll walk you through it. First of all, let’s start off with the custom name. I’m going to say “UnderMyCap,” just because why not. Now we can select the appearance of the villager. Basically, you know how there are different types of villagers? You can simply select the one you want. I’m going to go for an armorer; that sounds pretty cool! You can also select its level, which only changes its appearance. There’s a little emerald that changes depending on whether you select gold, silver, or diamond. Let’s do “Master” for the level. You can also select the biome. Depending on which biome a villager is in, you can do that. Let’s choose “snow,” which will be a bit interesting. Now there are traits that you can give it, which is really useful. The “No AI” option will make sure that the villager does not move. If this is ticked, the villager will just stand there doing nothing. I’m going to leave that off so it moves. “Silent” is really cool, too; I’m going to turn that on because I don’t want it to keep on talking. “Persistent” basically keeps it moving, and “Invulnerable” means it cannot be killed in survival, which makes it a lot harder. I’m going to keep that ticked. Now the next step is actually setting up a trade. You can see here that it says “Select the trade options,” “Max uses,” and all of this stuff. I’m going to leave this set to infinite for now, so I’ll select that option. As you can see, I can actually select the XP. If you have an ad blocker on, it will not work, so make sure to turn that off. For now, I’m going to just set it to “Don’t reward XP.” Now we can move on to the next part. There are two types of things that a villager can do: buy stuff and sell stuff. The first item that we’re going to create is we want it to buy sticks. Let’s say we want it to buy 10 sticks. If you want a special price that deducts the value, you can select that here, or a price multiplier—which means if it gets angry at you, it can increase. You can select those options, but you don’t actually have to. I’m just going to use random numbers. Let’s set the quantity to 10. Now let’s move on to the selling option. If I give it that many sticks, I want it to give me a boat. We’ll just do that, and the boat will be called “An item that helps you stay on water.” It doesn’t matter! Next is positioning. You can leave this set to relative; I highly recommend this because when you spawn it in the world, you want it to spawn where you are. If you have it set to absolute, it will spawn at that exact coordinate. If I went back into Minecraft, the exact coordinates are right here, and that’s where it will spawn if it’s exact. But relative is fine. You can add motion by changing these values. I’ll just leave that as it is. You don’t have to add rotation or anything. Now you can add effects to this villager, and it’s as simple as just ticking a box. Jump Boost, Instant Health, Absorption—yeah, we’ll just leave all of that on; that’s pretty useful. The duration can be adjusted if you want it to stay on for a certain time, and you can also disable particles. Just for the sake of this video, I don’t want any particles everywhere. After you’ve selected all your options, it’s as simple as hitting “Generate.” You can see here that it says the following generated command is longer than 256 characters, so it will require a command block to run. That is exactly why we got a command block in the first place! So let’s copy this command right here (Ctrl+C), go back into Minecraft, and hit F11 to make it nicer for you. Then go into the command block and hit Ctrl+V to paste the command. After that, hit “Done.” Now we have our villager called “UnderMyCap,” and he is a Snow Armorer. You can see the diamond icon; that means he is the highest level. If I have 10 sticks, I can get a boat! Hold on, the boat is an item that helps you stay afloat on water. You can see the villager, and if I get some sticks and give them to the villager while clicking on this trade, you can see that I receive the boat. It is super cool! The diamond indicates that he is indeed the top level. Now, you can see he is invincible because we ticked that invincibility option, so I cannot kill him. However, if I go into creative mode, I’m sorry, but you’re gone! That’s about it for the video. If you enjoyed it, don’t forget to leave a like! This is a really awkward position, but if you did enjoy the video, please leave a like and also subscribe to the channel; it would be greatly appreciated. We are so close to hitting 10K subscribers, so that would be awesome! Join the team—just hit that red button and make sure it’s not red. Only 1% of my viewers are subscribed, so let’s try to increase that number. Thank you so much! I hope this helped, and I can’t wait to see you in the next video. See you!
