This isn’t the official Nintendo Switch case, but it is affordable. It has a nice hard shell and bumpers to support your Joy-Cons. When you unzip it, there’s space for your game cards. There’s also a small compartment to store your Joy-Cons. It’s super useful.

The short answer is no, but the long answer is yes. You do need an adapter, but it’s really simple. I went on Amazon and bought a cheap adapter that converts mini HDMI to full-size HDMI. All you do is plug it in like this.
