Discover This Week’s Featured VR Rooms in Rec Room

Hey, VR enthusiasts! Welcome back to another week of exploring the most exciting VR spaces in Rec Room. If it’s Tuesday, it’s Featured Rooms Day with your host, Under My Cap. This week, we’ve got a mix of creative and fun rooms, along with some spine-chilling ones that will surely keep you on the edge of your seat. So let’s dive right into it!

Clouds Gazen Plaza: A Serene Escape

The first room on our journey is Clouds Gazen Plaza. This virtual masterpiece offers a tranquil setting with an impressive backdrop and a charming water fountain. You’ll find quirky facts about fruits sprinkled throughout the room – twin pears anyone? While swings in the room didn’t work, the overall creativity of the place earns it a solid eight out of ten. It’s a perfect tranquil escape if you’re looking to relax.

Spirit Link: Venture into the Unknown

Next up is the Spirit Link room. This is not for the faint-hearted. Despite some adorable cats and dogs trying to lighten the mood, the spooky music and eerie atmosphere are truly unsettling. Expect sudden scares as you navigate this space. Be prepared to encounter the unknown, and maybe even have a conversation with a ghost. It’s a spine-tingler that promises thrills for those daring to explore.

Eco Haunt: A Haunting Experience

The adventure continues with Eco Haunt, a room full of suspense and mystery. Sounds of smashing glass and eerie silences add to the chilling experience—I couldn’t even open a door without a sense of foreboding. While it may be too intense for some, the atmosphere is masterfully crafted. For those who enjoy a bit of digital dread, this is definitely worth checking out.

Drop Party: Ready to Groove

It’s time to lift the spirits with a visit to the Drop Party room. Although a bit glitchy, it offers a vibrant environment that will have you dancing in no time. While it was a bit quiet during my visit, the setup was impressive with lively avatar icons ready to join the party. A great space to cut loose and let the good vibes roll.

Pizza Planet: Channel Your Inner Chef

Finally, we conclude our tour with Pizza Planet. Embrace your culinary ambitions as you whip up pizzas to satisfy virtual customers. Add your choice of toppings, bake, and serve. Every order brings a new challenge, and the AI-generated tasks keep you on your toes. With a score of 66% on my pizza, it’s clear there’s room for improvement. But the fun doesn’t stop there—each shift promises fresh excitement!

Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap, and if it’s Tuesday, it’s Featured Rooms Day. So, let’s dive into this week’s featured rooms. By the way, there are a lot of scary AI rooms coming up, so I don’t know what we’re going to be doing. I don’t like scary rooms. The first room we are in is called Clouds Gazen Plaza, and it is actually so cool. You can see we have this awesome background, a water fountain, and decorations everywhere. There are even some facts about fruits in the room, like twin pears. As you can see, we have one over here. Very creative. I don’t think that’s a real fruit, but it’s still super cool. Seriously, look at these flowers—they’re like the size of my head. Really cool. Oh, hang on. Please say these work. Oh, you can’t. Okay. Well, it’s still pretty cool. It’s nice to have some swings in a room, but I think this room is pretty cool—I’d give it a solid like an eight. But let’s move on to one of the scarier rooms. The next room we’re in is called Spirit Link, and to be honest, it looks very spooky. Well, hang on—there are some really cute cats and dogs, so that makes it sound a bit nicer. You can hear there is some freaky music in the background, and there are some flashing lights. Oh, the music stopped. Where is the play button? Oh my gosh, that actually scared me so much. Is that what we’re going to be playing with? I don’t think I can—it’s actually too scary. How is that in this game? That’s—ooh. Okay, where do you start? That is just creepy. Oh, it’s this thing, isn’t it? Are we already in the game? Is that how it works? I’m going to position the camera like this. We’re just going to start the session. I hope you can see this okay. What’s happening? It looks like we’re getting teleported. You serious? Okay, so it looks like we have to interact with this little board here, and it says “Ask a question.” So, I’ll just say, “Are you a ghost?” I don’t think this is going to work. Do I need to ask it again? “Are you a ghost?” Interesting. Oh, I have to hold and click on it again. Okay, so we just ask a question. I’ll say, “Are you a ghost?” No. Oh, okay—that’s kind of creepy. Oh, that’s a cat. Okay, I got a little scared. No, you no refuse. Okay. Well, this room is very cool. If you want to see me play this game properly, make sure to leave a like, subscribe, and comment so I can play this game again. It seems very cool, but we have more rooms to explore. Next, we are diving into Eco Haunt. Or is it Echo Haunt? Okay, this looks pretty spooky. Oh my gosh, what was that? Okay, I was going to say this—no. I have too many things going through my mind right now. This is really spooking me out. There was a smashing sound as I joined this room, and there’s only one button to open the door. I feel like if I open it, something’s going to happen. So, I click it. Oh—okay, it opened a door. No, no, no. This is really spooky. Why am I so slow? Is this Foresophobia? How to hunt? Oh, no, no, no. This room is really cool but very spooky. I’m not great with horror at all. I can’t do this. I can’t do this. I can’t handle it. Is that something over there? What is that? Is it on fire? No. No, no, no. Very cool room, but I literally cannot do this. It’s just too scary. For some reason, my shoulder is shining, and the house behind me keeps making a huge smashing sound. I’m not going anywhere near that. Too scary. If you want me to play this room again, comment below, but I just can’t do it right now. Next, we’ll change the mood to something more positive with Drop Party, which looks very fun. We’ve just dropped into the room. It’s a little glitchy on my end, but let’s check it out. It looks a bit like—oh, hello. I—I can’t even talk. I am making a video of the featured rooms this week. This is a very cool room, by the way. It looks like there’s no one even playing right now. How do you play? Is it broken? That’s a shame. Oh, I see. That’s so cool—you can see your little avatar icons. This is a very well-set-up room. That’s very cool. The next room we’re going into is Pizza Planet, so let’s go straight in. It says 15 minutes, and this actually looks really cool. I believe it uses game AI to generate random orders and events. We see our first customer. So, let’s walk over. How does this work? I’d love to take your order, sir. Hello! Hello there. Okay, I think I can do that. First, we grab a pizza from over here. We put the dough on the station. Awesome. Now, we need to get some ingredients. That looks like the cooking station, and this is where the ingredients are. I’m going to grab some black olives and some mushrooms. We place the olives on the pizza, and then add the mushrooms. That doesn’t look much like mushrooms, but we’ll work with it. We put the toppings on, then take the pizza out of the oven. Already feeling like a pizza chef! We put the pizza in the oven, and it starts cooking. Wow, we’re cooking! Can I serve you? Oh, there’s another person coming. I guess I can’t serve them because I’m already making a pizza. Hopefully, the game will tell us when it’s ready. I think that sound means it’s done. We’ll grab the pizza—look at that crust. It looks delicious. This has to be a perfect pizza. Uh-oh—that scared me. The score is 66%. Very cool. This room is actually really fun—I might even make an entire video about it. I haven’t taken that last person’s order either, but I’ll do that next time. If you enjoyed this week’s video, please leave a like and subscribe to the channel. I don’t know why I got really tall just then. Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next video.
