Okay, there we are. Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I thought I’d do a little channel update. I am in VR because I feel like it’s a better way to talk with you guys. I will be discussing the future of the channel and what I’ve been up to, among other things. So without further ado, let’s get straight into this. First of all, let’s try to find a little seat. I think this area is quite nice for talking to the camera; this looks like a great spot. So, let’s talk about the first thing: what’s been happening with the channel. If you haven’t been looking at my channel recently, I haven’t uploaded anything in quite a while. I think it’s been around four or five months since my last proper upload. The reason I haven’t been uploading a lot is that I’ve been a bit burnt out. I know I haven’t been creating many videos, but with all the life stuff happening, like university and that sort of thing, I’ve really wanted to start making videos that are more valuable. I don’t want to just pump out a lot of rubbish. I’ve been trying to get back into it, and I’ve discovered this awesome game that I really want to start using for talking videos and helping with my online tutorials. But don’t worry, there are more videos to come; I’ve just been a bit burnt out. Now, let’s talk about what I’m actually planning to do on the channel. For that, let’s walk to a different area. I’ve been thinking about this, and I’ve noticed that my shorts, particularly for my Minecraft tutorials, have been doing really well. I’ve only done about two shorts so far, and they’ve actually reached a significant audience and stand out well compared to others. The thing I’ve discovered about shorts, compared to long-form content, is that tutorials don’t need to be lengthy. You’re just there to learn what you came to learn, and then you can leave. That’s one aspect I love about my channel—people can come, learn, and then go back to their own projects while staying creative. I think shorts might be a great option to attract more viewers to my videos. There’s nothing worse than putting out a video and realizing it didn’t perform well, even though I love editing and sharing them. Sometimes, it can be a bit disheartening. With so much competition now in Minecraft command tutorials—many talented people in the community helping others—it’s challenging to stand out. I believe shorts could be the way forward for my Minecraft commands. Additionally, I want to create more content around Rec Room. I really enjoy using VR characters to communicate with you, and I plan to do a lot of talking and teaching on the channel. The idea I’ve had for this channel from the start is to ensure people can stay creative. I’m hoping to expand beyond just Minecraft. I want to teach you how to video edit based on my experiences, how to create thumbnails, how to learn Minecraft commands, and how to be creative inside Rec Room. I want to share all the fantastic skills I’ve learned over time so that you can start creating awesome content online, too. So, here’s my plan of action: I’m going to start making Minecraft videos in short form, specifically tutorials, so people can learn quicker about command tutorials online. The benefit is that it reaches more people and helps more people. The second part of my plan is new content. I won’t just be creating Minecraft content; I also want to produce a lot of Rec Room content and various talking videos. I run many events inside Rec Room, so maybe I’ll start recording those events or just host some discussions in my talking videos. In short, my plan of attack includes shorts, Rec Room content, and much more creative content aimed at teaching people to be creative online. I hope you support this! Please let me know what you think in the comments below. I’ve meant to create this video for a long time, and I finally built the confidence to do it! If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to subscribe and smash that like button. I’ll see you in the next video. Hope you have an awesome day! (I did not mean to pick up that cup of tea.) See you!
