MakerSpace is designed to be an awesome environment for all, when a player joins an event it is essential to visit that player and make them feel welcome. Some things you could ask them are:

“Hi how are you going today?”

“Is this your first time here at MakerSpace”

“Welcome! Did you want to try building today?”

If is important to make sure that all players visiting MakerSpace are comfortable and regularly checked upon. During an event it is recommended that you walk around the room in a circular motion to check up on everyone.

It is also important if a player is new to inform them of the rules which can be summarised bellow:

Respect everyone, keep builds PG, no grieving/hacking and no use of props or circuits unless the event mentions that props and circuits are allowed.
