How to Get a Knockback Stick in Minecraft Java (Updated)

Hey everybody, and welcome back to another exciting post where today we’ll dive into the magical world of Minecraft! Specifically, we’re going to uncover the secrets behind acquiring an epic knockback stick. Many players enjoy the whimsical yet strategic nature of wielding such a tool, so if you’ve always wanted to send mobs flying farther than ever before, you’re in the right place!

Basic Knockback Stick Crafting

First, let’s cover the basics. Creating a knockback stick in Minecraft is typically straightforward. Combine a regular stick with a knockback enchantment book on an anvil, and there you have it—your very own rudimentary knockback stick. But what if you want to go beyond the limits of what the book can offer?

Pushing the Boundaries

In this guide, we’ll show you how to create knockback sticks at enchantment levels of 10, 100, 1000, and even 10,000. Yes, you read that right! With these levels, mobs will be propelled so far that you might lose sight of them as they soar into the horizon. Let’s get started!

Executing the Command

The magic behind these super-powered sticks lies in a single command. To get started, open your Minecraft command console and type in the following:

/give @s stick{Enchantments:[{id:knockback,lvl:10}]}

This command grants you a stick with knockback level 10. Remember, the command console is case-sensitive, so double-check your spelling and capitalization.

Customizing Your Knockback Level

Want to see how much higher we can go? You can adjust the ‘lvl’ value to increase the knockback level. Here’s how you can try out level 100:

/give @s stick{Enchantments:[{id:knockback,lvl:100}]}

As you test these levels, you’ll notice the mobs begin to vanish from sight as they fly off. For the daring, try level 1000:

/give @s stick{Enchantments:[{id:knockback,lvl:1000}]}

Understanding the Limits

As exciting as it is to wield such power, there’s an upper limit to how high you can go. At exceedingly high numbers, like a million, the game will treat your stick as if it has no enchantment. Watch out for this and if your stick doesn’t seem to send mobs flying, you might have reached or surpassed this threshold.

Final Thoughts

This command opens up a whole new world of possibilities for your in-game adventures. Whether it’s for creating hilarious moments in Minecraft or experimenting with game mechanics, having a knockback stick at super high levels is sure to bring lots of fun!

Video Transcript

Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap, and welcome back to another video. Today, I’m going to show you how to get a knockback stick in Minecraft. As you may already know, you can craft knockback sticks quite simply by putting a stick in an anvil with a knockback book. However, if you want to go beyond that limit, I will demonstrate it in this video. Today, I’m going to show you how to get 10 knockback, 100 knockback, 1000 knockback, and 10,000 knockback. There’s a lot of knockback! Once we get over a thousand, though, you can’t really see the mob because of how far it goes away. So, without further ado, let’s get started. There’s only one command for this, and it’s quite simple to execute, although it is a large command. Basically, what you want to do is type in `/give @s stick`. Now, before pressing Enter, we’ll add our very own custom NBT. Make sure that you spell everything correctly and keep it case sensitive since the command console is case-sensitive. What we want to do is type a space and then add `{“Enchantments”:[{“id”:”knockback”,”lvl`: Now, after this, we want to add a comma and a space. This outlines the enchantment we want to give it, but now we need to specify the level. For starters, let’s set it to level 10. To close it, we just need to add `]}`. Once you hit Enter, you’ll see that it gets hit quite hard! Let me demonstrate again. Of course, you can reopen the command and increase the level. Let’s try 100 now. You will notice that at level 100, you can’t really see the mob fly off; you might see it against a wall, but I highly doubt it because they tend to jump up and down. As you can see, when I hit it, the mob goes straight through the house because of how hard you’re hitting it. You can continually increase the level, so if we wanted to do 1000, the mob just disappears; you can barely see it. Basically, that’s the command. You can keep increasing the level as much as you want. However, I’m pretty sure that once you get to a certain number, such as a ridiculous number like 10,000, it will give you a knockback stick with zero effect. As you can see, it behaves just like a normal stick, whereas the ones with enchantments will knock the mobs away. So that was a quick video about how to use this command.
