Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap, and welcome back to another video. Today, I’m going to show you how to install data packs into your Minecraft world. It’s really simple, and all you need is a world set up. Now, as you can see, I’m going to go to the menu. Here are my worlds, and all you need to do is make sure you have a world ready. For example, my “Best World” was set up in Creative mode. What you also need is an actual data pack to install. What’s the point of watching this video if you don’t have a data pack? So, let’s find one. Here’s one called “Raining Chests.” I’m going to click on it and download the data pack. Now, let’s head back to our Minecraft world. I’ll click on “Best World,” and then hit the little button in the corner that says “Edit.” I’ll simply click “Open World Folder.” When you open your world folder, you’ll see a whole bunch of stuff. Click on “datapacks,” and there’s nothing here. You will need to place your data pack in this folder for it to work. Let’s get our web browser back, go to our downloads, and I will drag the “Raining Chests” release into the datapack folder. As you can see, it’s right here. Now, I’ll hit “Save.” When I open this world, it probably doesn’t look very different—it just still looks the same and nothing seems to be happening. What you want to do now is hit “Reload,” which will reload all the plugins. Now let’s look around. Yep, there we are: raining chests! Oh my gosh, there are a lot of them! As you can see, the data pack is working. Let’s head over to the chests and see what happens. A lot of them are ending up in the water, and there’s a whole bunch of random stuff. So that’s basically how to install the data pack. If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe to the channel if you are new. I create a ton of Minecraft content and am trying to create even more. Don’t forget to join the Sub Club by hitting the bell and the subscribe button down below. Thank you so much for watching! I’ll also leave this starter pack that I used if you’re interested in “Raining Chests.” I can’t wait to see you in the next video. See ya!
