Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to make custom shields in Minecraft, like this and this, for free in both Minecraft Bedrock and Java Edition. This is super cool, and you can actually do it in survival and creative modes. Now, obviously, I can’t create banners like this by myself, so I’ll show you a really cool tool where you can get these designs. But without further ado, let’s get straight into the video to show you how to do it. First of all, I need to actually get the delivery of Daryl. Seriously, what are you going to do with all this stuff? I don’t want that; that’s a lot of money! I’ll take this all anyway. So, let’s just grab all of this. These are the items we’ll actually need for today’s video. You can see I’ve got my custom banners here. We also have shields, dyes, and banner patterns, which I’ll get to a bit later, along with a few banners that I’ve prepared earlier. Now, before we start this tutorial, you will need a block called the loom. To craft one of these, you’ll just need two pieces of wood and two strings. Simply place them in your crafting table like that, and you will get your loom. Once you have your loom, you’ll see this interface, where you will make your custom banners. You can see that I have a few banners here; let’s put them into the loom. We also have dyes, which are the colors that will go onto your banner. Let’s just place that down there, and you’ll notice that once we put these two in, you get a whole bunch of pattern designs. I’m going to go very basic; let’s just do that. That actually looks kind of cool—those sorts of things. If you have a pattern banner or banner pattern, this is where you can add custom designs onto your print. For example, if we get the skull pattern, you can see we get a really cool skull design there. Let’s put that one through, and we’ll also try the flower charge, maybe changing up the colors a bit. So now, we have three custom banners. Once you have your banners crafted and your shields crafted as well, you can simply place your shield in the crafting table. We’ll put that and that together, and you’ll notice that we get our shield. You can see this shield has a really cool pattern on it, and you can do this with all of the patterns you make in Minecraft. Now, the really cool website I was talking about earlier to get these patterns from is a tools website, which I will link in the description as well. But I’ll show you right now. The website is called Minecraft Tools, and it’s a great site where you can find different patterns, and you can craft your own designs to figure out how to get your custom banner icon. You can actually customize your banner here. I didn’t make this one, but you can also browse a whole bunch of community-made banners, and there are seriously a lot of options! I did not know that you could actually make all of these with your banners. The best part is that once you create your design, instead of going through all the steps, you can simply copy the awesome give command syntax, paste it into your command terminal, and voila—you have your awesome custom banner! Okay, awesome! I’ve given Daryl an amazing shield that we made for his payment for all the items. Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy your awesome Fox Shield. Can we just see that one more time? That looks awesome! But that’s about it for this video. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe. I hope to see you in the next video!
