Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to get custom villagers in Minecraft, which can trade anything you want. It’s really simple and pretty straightforward. Please note that this video is specifically for Java Edition, so unfortunately, this will not work on Bedrock Edition; it is only for Java Edition. Without further ado, let’s get straight into this. First, we will be using an online generator; the link will be in the description below, and I’ll teach you how to use it. It’s very simple to use, and you’ll also need a command block. So first, let’s get a command block by typing `/give @p command_block`. The next step is to actually go to the generator. I’m going to press F11, and you’ll see that I have it open already. Let me drag this across here. This is on Dig Minecraft, and the link will be in the description, so make sure you don’t go to the wrong link. This is such a cool website; it makes command generation so simple. I’ll leave it in the description below. Also, if you are using a different version of Minecraft, make sure to use one of those links here. For example, if you’re still on version 1.16, click that option. Let’s go through the custom generation settings together. Through this generator, you can give the villager a custom name and select various villager options, and I’ll walk you through it. First, let’s start off with the custom name. I’m going to say “UnderMyCap” just because why not? Next, we can select the appearance of the villager. There are different types of villagers depending on what you want, and you can simply select that. I’m going to go for an armorer; that sounds pretty cool. You can also select its level, which will change its appearance. The level changes the little emerald that appears above them; it goes from gold to silver to diamond. Let’s set it to “Master.” You can also select the biome in which the villager will appear. I’ll choose “Snow” because that will be interesting. Now, these are traits that you can give to the villager, which is really useful. The “No AI” option will ensure that the villager does not move. If you check that, the villager will just stand there and do nothing. I’m going to leave that off so it can move. The “Silent” option is cool as well; it prevents the villager from talking, and I’m going to turn that on because I don’t want it to keep talking. The “Persistent” option allows the villager to keep moving; I’ll keep that ticked. The “Invulnerable” option means that the villager cannot be killed in survival mode, making it much harder to get rid of, so I’ll keep that ticked too. Next, we will set up a trade. You can see here that it says “Select the trade options,” “Max uses,” and all of that. I’m going to leave this alone for now; if you want to limit the trades to, say, five times, you can set that, but I want it to be infinite, so I’ll select that. You can also select the XP that the villager will give. If you have an ad blocker on, it will not work, so make sure to turn that off. For now, I’m just going to set it to “Don’t reward XP.” Now we can move on to the next part. There are two types of transactions a villager can perform: it can buy items or sell items. The first item we will create is for the villager to buy sticks. Let’s say we want it to buy ten sticks. If you want to set a special price that deducts the value, you can select that here, or set a price multiplier, which basically increases the demand if the villager gets angry. You don’t have to select those options, so I’m just going to leave them as they are for now. The quantity will be set to ten. Now, let’s move on to the sell option. If I give it that many sticks, it will give me a boat. We’ll call it “Boat,” an item that helps you stay on water. Now, let’s talk about positioning. You can leave this set to “Relative.” I highly recommend this because when you spawn it in the world, you want it to spawn where you are. If you set it to “Absolute,” it will spawn at that exact coordinate. For example, if I went back into Minecraft, the exact coordinates are right there, and that’s where it will spawn if it’s set as an absolute position. However, using “Relative” is perfectly fine. You can add motion by changing those values; I’ll just leave that alone. You don’t have to add rotation unless you want to. Now, you can add effects to this villager simply by ticking a box. I’ll choose jump boost, instant health, and absorption; that’s pretty useful. This is the duration if you want the effects to last. You can also disable particles. Just for the sake of this video, I don’t want any particles everywhere. After you set everything up, it’s as simple as just hitting “Generate.” And that’s how cool this command generator is! You can see here that it says the following generated text is longer than 256 characters, so it will require a command block to run. That’s exactly why we got a command block in the first place. Let’s copy this command, and then go back into Minecraft. Let me hit F11 to make it look nicer for you. Go into the command block and paste the command. Basically, to copy, before you hit “Command,” use Ctrl + C. After that, hit “Done.” We have our villager named “UnderMyCap,” and he is a snow armorer. Now you can see the diamond icon I mentioned earlier; that means he is at the highest level. If I have ten sticks, I can trade them for a boat. Let’s see how this works. I’ll drop the sticks near the villager and trade with him. You can see that I get the boat, and it is super cool. The diamond indicates that he’s at the top level. You can also see that he is invincible because we ticked that option, so I cannot kill him. However, if I switch to creative mode, I can get rid of him. That’s about it for the video! If you enjoyed it, don’t forget to leave a like. This is a bit of an awkward position, but if you did enjoy the video, please subscribe to the channel. It would be greatly appreciated; we are so close to hitting 10K subscribers! So, that would be awesome. Join the team by hitting that red button and making sure it’s not red anymore. Only 1% of my subscribers are subscribed, so let’s try and make that number go much higher. Thank you so much, I hope this helped, and I can’t wait to see you in the next video!
