Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video. Today, I’m going to show you how to use the title command in Bedrock Minecraft Edition. If you are a Java player, don’t worry! I have a Java Edition video linked in the description, so please check that out since this video will not work for you. As you can see, similar to Java Edition, you have the same types of commands: action bar, clear, reset, subtitle, times, and title. Let’s start off with the basics. To use the title command, you’ll type: /title @a title followed by your own message. For example, if I enter “hello,” you’ll see that it displays “hello.” You can also play a subtitle using a similar command. First, you’ll input the same title start: /title @a subtitle and then your message, say “hello.” However, you might notice that the subtitle doesn’t actually show up. This is because you need to play a title along with the subtitle. So, if I go back to the title command I used before and type in “hello,” you’ll notice that the subtitle will also play. Keep in mind that once you play a subtitle, it won’t show up again. If I enter “hello” again, you won’t see the subtitle. To play it again, simply set the subtitle to your desired phrase and then you can play another title. You can see it does the same thing again, which is quite useful. Now, let’s move on to the next part. You may be wondering what an action bar is. It’s the small area at the bottom of the screen. I don’t know if you can see where my mouse is, but it’s basically that section where the GUI command displays. You can also replace the “@a” with your own name, so I’ll type in “UnderMyCap” and we will do action bar “hello” again. You can see it appears at the bottom of the screen, and I can use this as much as I like—it’s similar to the title and subtitle commands. If you want to control the timing of how the titles act, you can use the times command. The command structure is: /title @a times, followed by three different numbers that represent fading in, staying in, and fading out. For example, I’ll type in 20 ticks for fading in, keep it for 40 ticks, and then fade out for 20 ticks. Now, if I play a title again, such as with action bar, you’ll see it stays there for a while and then slowly fades out. The same goes for the title; it will slowly fade in, stay for 40 ticks, and then fade out over 20 ticks. Now, let’s say you want to clear all of the title commands and reset everything. Don’t worry; there’s a command for that as well. You simply type: /title @a reset, which will reset the entire command, keeping your timing but resetting the subtitles. Additionally, there’s one more command called the clear command. This command will erase everything if you accidentally set a subtitle and don’t want it to show anymore. That’s about it! If you enjoyed the video, please leave a like and subscribe to the channel—it would be greatly appreciated. If you are on Java Edition, remember to check out the Java Edition video as this one only works for Bedrock Edition. Thank you so much for watching, and I can’t wait to see you in the next video!
