Minecraft’s Secret World Editor Unveiled

Discover the exciting new way to create stunning worlds using an editor within Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

As Minecraft enthusiasts continue to explore the vast endless possibilities in their blocky worlds, a new tool has emerged that could redefine how we create those worlds. A secret program, akin to the popular MC Edit, has been released, and it promises to let you build and edit maps more efficiently than ever before.

The excitement begins with a sudden realization: there’s a hidden gem within the Minecraft Bedrock Edition. With a few clicks, you can access an editor that allows you to construct, modify, and manage maps without even launching the main game. This new tool seems to offer incredible potential for those looking to design complex environments effortlessly.

Getting Started with the Minecraft Editor

The journey begins as you navigate to the Bedrock Edition and select “Creator Tools”. Suddenly, you are introduced to the Minecraft Editor Beta, a robust tool designed for effortless world-building. This feature doesn’t require any additional software; all you need is Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Upon entering the editor, you notice the interface is distinct from the traditional Minecraft experience. The usual “Worlds” tab is replaced, giving you the option to create a new project. After giving your project a name and switching to creative mode, you are ready to explore the editor’s capabilities.

Exploring the Editor Interface

The Minecraft Editor introduces a new way to navigate using a mouse and keyboard. By holding down the right mouse button, you can look around, and with the familiar W, A, S, D keys, you’re able to fly through your world effortlessly.

The toolset is displayed on the left rail, and it includes a variety of features such as clipboard, alignment tools, and more. Each of these tools opens up new possibilities for map creation.

Creating with Ease

You can start by drawing lines and aligning blocks using the “align” tool, which might remind you of creating structures in block space. Selecting blocks and using the fill selection feature transforms the mundane task of block placement into a seamless process. This function alone feels like the old fill command taken to new heights.

Entity Management and Customization

Another tool allows you to summon entities and even rotate them, offering unprecedented control. Whether you’re spawning animals or custom models, this feature introduces a fresh, interactive dimension to map creation. Imagine rotating pigs or placing entities precisely where you envision them.

Advanced Features for Detailed Crafting

The measurement tool resembles a digital ruler, useful for determining dimensions and ensuring symmetrical builds. It’s not just about placement; understanding scale has never been easier.

Next is the paintbrush tool, designed for selecting areas and applying mass changes. This was a more complex feature with a challenging learning curve, but its potential is vast. Imagine transforming massive sections of a map with a few clicks.

For Those Who Seek Perfection

The flatten brush offers precision control, allowing for smooth terrain sculpting. The “smart fill” feature intelligently recognizes patterns and fills areas, showcasing the technological leap in world editing. These tools often introduce unexpected outcomes, allowing you to experiment and discover new tactics.

What’s Next for Minecraft Builders?

This secret world editor is not just a tool but a gateway to creativity for Minecraft builders. While the learning curve may be steep for some features, the editor represents a monumental evolution in Minecraft map design.

As the community adapts and learns to wield this new power, expect to see a surge in the complexity and beauty of player-created worlds. Many are excited to share tutorials and guide others through this fascinating process.

Embrace this tool, and if you are passionate about creating new adventures and landscapes in Minecraft, this editor might be the catalyst for your greatest creations yet.

Conclusion

To test this Minecraft world editor is to unlock a new level of building freedom. As you get familiar with its tools and quirks, you’ll set the stage for limitless possibilities in your Minecraft universe. Whether you aim to replicate real-world structures or dream up fantastical kingdoms, this editor could be the key to your next masterpiece.

Video Transcript

Okay, sorry, hang on. This is not like a normal video. I’ve just started recording because I believe that there is a secret Minecraft program that I have never heard of before that they’ve just released. It’s like MC Edit but allows you to fully build maps in Minecraft. I have no clue about this, and it’s actually so cool! You can build Minecraft maps and edit worlds super fast without having to actually play the game. You can use an editor. Of course, we have to upload. Okay, hang on, it’s loading. So apparently, if we go to Bedrock Edition and click on Create Tools… Yeah, wow, okay, Editor Beta, stunning worlds at scale. Okay, so how does it work? You can get plugins… Oh, Block Bench, okay, latest release. I guess, let’s create. So, is it inside Minecraft Bedrock? It doesn’t seem like I have to download any other software. It seems like I literally just open up Minecraft Bedrock. Okay, we just opened Minecraft Bedrock. We’ll see what happens. Create a new project. Okay, so that’s interesting. What it’s done is actually take the Worlds tab out of this game. There’s still servers, so I can still play on my servers. There’s still a Friends tab, but I can create a new project. So, let’s just do that. Interesting. Let’s call this “Test,” I guess. Go into creative. Okay, so it’s like it acts like a normal world; we are just creating a brand new world, but we can change a few things. Beds work; you can turn beds off. Okay, interesting. Simulation distance… okay, let’s just get into this. Create. So, it’s interesting; it’s literally Minecraft Bedrock. Welcome to the Minecraft Editor Beta, a tool designed to help you create stunning worlds in Bedrock with ease. So, there’s documentation. To navigate, you’ll use a mouse and keyboard. Yeah, okay, hold down the right mouse button to look around, and then you can use W, A, S, and D. Okay, interesting. So you can see if I use my mouse and right-click, I can hold onto the screen, and then if I use W, A, S, and D, I can fly around. Tools: You can find the tools on the left rail. Okay, so over here. Okay, interesting. We’ve got a pasting section, so clipboard. We’ve got a line tool. Okay, what is that thing that is spinning? Is that an arrow? How do I zoom in? Move… shift? Oh, I see! So shift and space. Okay, so it is an arrow. Wow, okay, that’s not really a line, but I mean, it kind of is in block space. Very cool animation. Okay, so I’ve made a line. Can I fill that line? Okay, okay, wait, hang on. So can I just draw a line from here to here? Let’s just get rid of this as well. So if I want to do a line from here to here, I can select the block I want. Manage hotbars… okay, this is interesting. Just number one. Okay, oh, I see. You can select the block that you want and then hit confirm. Then we just hit “Fill Selection” over here. Wow, okay, this is like the fill command on steroids, quite literally right now. So we’ve got the fill command. I am going to 100% make tutorials on how to use all of this. This is actually so cool. Now, let’s see what the next one is. So this is the summon tool. We can click on an entity to select it or click on the map to summon a new one. Okay, oh, so the time’s frozen, so I can spawn in stuff. So, like, if I want to get an LA… okay, that is very, very cool. I really like that. So you can summon entities, and you can actually rotate them as well. So imagine this is the select tool. Can I select it? It’s really hard to select this. The entities, okay, unless I have to be on here…but you see, I don’t want to spawn in any more entities. Okay, so it looks like you have to spawn in a new entity if you want to rotate it. So, if we do that, then we can rotate the pig. I don’t know if their neck position is relative to anything. Wow, and it even has the random generation thing as well. Okay, very cool. So now we got that. What’s this one? Measurement. Okay, so I’m imagining this is just to figure out how long something is. So like, that’s cool. I like that. We’ve got a little ruler; that’s kind of cool. We have something I can’t read, but I imagine that’s just like… oh, it’s geography… southerly and easterly. Okay, easterly or something. I forgot what it is. Very cool. So you can measure any position to anywhere. Wow, okay, so that’s pretty cool to figure out the dimensions of things. Pretty, pretty nice. We have the paintbrush. Okay, I’ve selected it, but like, what do you do now? So I can select an area, or do I…? Let’s fly up. Let’s fly up. Okay, whoa! Did I spawn that in? I mean, I’ve got copper selected at the moment, so I must have spawned that in, right? Did I? Huh, excuse me, do I have to select? Okay, let’s select an area. This is a very big learning curve. Okay, and it’s weird to see these arrows in my view as well. So we selected the area. Do I…? This is really interesting. Okay, I’m going to have to come back to this in another video; that’s super cool. Flatten brush? Okay, interesting. Can I flatten? How does this work? Radius… let’s flatten. Oh, wait, hang on, that’s kind of cool. So, like, flattening… can I…? How does this work? Oh, it doesn’t seem to like that. Oh, wait, hang on, hang on! What have I done? It looks like when I do something, there’s an orange box that surrounds the screen. I don’t know if that has anything to do with… and the game got really glitchy just then, so I have no clue. I don’t quite know what I’m doing. Smart fill? Is it smart enough to fill this? Am I smart enough to even know what I’m doing? What am I doing? There we are! Okay, smart fill. Do I have to select the area first like that, and then smart fill it? That doesn’t seem very smart to me. Oh, hang on! It did it! It filled it smartly, I think! Whoa! Hang on, what did I fill? Can I break blocks? What did I fill? Oh my God! I filled like the entire mountain! Oh my God! Okay, well, that is actually sick! The weird thing about this video is I actually can’t pull my character up, so if you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe. I’m actually amazed by this; I’m going to 100% do a tutorial for each individual thing, because this is actually such an awesome tool. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and smash that subscribe button. I can’t wait to see you in the next video. This is a very interesting video because I literally just pulled it up and thought, “You know what? I may as well react to it.” But yeah, I’ll see you in the next video!
