Hey everybody, it’s under my cap and welcome back to another video where today we’re back in this let’s play world. And as you can see, we’re inside of the house where we last finished this episode last time. How do I get out of this? There we are. So we did have a minor creeper explosion which did damage the house. I think it’s okay. Yeah, there’s just a few little spots that we need to fix. I think it’s just one and two. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Wait, what? There’s a trident thing. Okay, hang on. And a Okay. Not Oh my gosh. Okay. Not the best way. Not Not the best way to start a video, I don’t think. Let’s just go back inside. So I guess what we need to do is we need to make this place a little bit more lit up so we don’t have problems like that. Oh my gosh. They can’t break doors, can they? I think I’m not I don’t know. But we should be okay, I think. I actually can’t hear any sounds, which is kind of a bit of a problem. Let’s see. Yeah. Is it me? Is Minecraft making sound? I can’t hear any sound. That’s so weird. Okay, that’s fine. But yeah, we need to add a floor. We need to light up the area. We need to make this world a little bit more positive because it’s looking a little bit negative right now. I mean, we just started, so like it should be fine. First of all, let’s get rid of these. We do not need those. We need to cook up some more food. And yeah, let’s do that. Put that there. And guys, I’m actually also super stoked as well. Little life update. I actually got a new job finally. I applied to get a job elsewhere this year and it took me like seven months to actually like get through the whole application process and then they said no. And then I found this absolutely amazing job opportunity working at like a sport fitness type of place. I love it. Everyone that works there is so great. So I’m so happy. But yeah, that’s a little bit of an update. So now I’m going to be busier, which is good, I guess. It’s good to be busy, good to be working. I’m bummed. We had I swear last episode I saw three black sheep, so we could have had three pieces of black wool to make a bed. Oh, hang on. Can we use bone? I don’t think you can use bone. Bone meal can’t dye stuff, can it? I feel like there is something called white dye now. So, I actually don’t think you can dye stuff. Let’s actually make some torches. We’re going to take some of this out. Also, notice there’s a little little mouse cursor on the screen, which is a little bit annoying, but we’ll make do with that. Torches are our number one priority right now. Now, I feel like Minecraft also did an update with like where you can place like I mean sorry like how light works. So like enemies won’t spawn, like it has to be pitch black for enemies to spawn. So I think that’s something to do with the new update. This is looking so nice now that we have some lights. Lighting on controller is a little bit more difficult, but we’ll get used to it. Did we just get our first iron ingot from a zombie? Well, that’s kind of funny. I wasn’t expecting the zombie to have that. Did they always hold iron or something? Is that like a new thing or something? I swear I haven’t seen that before. We need some more sticks. Let’s craft some wood. This is probably not the best place to just, you know, stand out in the open. Let’s craft a lot of torches. 16 torches. That is absolutely a perfect amount. Also, I think I may have killed one of the wandering villager was killed by a zombie cuz I got a lead. I don’t remember killing like a wandering trader. Now, there is a dog. Oh, okay. We got bones. Okay, I’m getting so distracted. Stick to the plan. We need to light the area up. I’m going to stay away from all the creepers because I just have bad luck bad luck with creepers in general. They don’t actually um they don’t like me at the moment. Actually, I saw online that there’s like a full conversation about Minecraft actually wouldn’t have added creepers. Oh, swear I just exploded my house. I didn’t. And there’s a black sheep. Wait, um. This is really complex. If I can get the creeper to go into the water, can I get the skeleton to shoot the creeper? Oh, okay. Nope. There’s drowns. I’m not thinking. I’m actually not thinking. There’s two sheep. There’s two sheep. Can I just kill one of them and then we can go to sleep? Okay, we got the wool. There’s a creeper. Please don’t explode my house. So, go this way into the house and we should be safe now. I don’t think we’ll be able to sleep because there’s monsters nearby, but I don’t think we’ll be able to sleep because we don’t have any wood. I literally just need to, run, chop one piece of wood, grab it, and don’t worry, we will chop that tree properly down. Go over here, click on that. Where’s the bed? And you can turn this on. Bed. Bed. Bed. Bed. Bed. There we are. We have one black bed. Perfect. And let’s put that down here. Can we sleep? Yes. Okay, we did it. We did it, guys. Creepers won’t despawn, which is annoying, but all the other enemies should disappear. So, I think that’s good. Also, we do have a dog somewhere, which needs to be tamed. There was a dog over here somewhere. Um, there’s a skeleton there. No, no dog. No dog. That creeper is really driving me nuts. I need to just get rid of it, but I’m actually too scared to kill it because I think it’s going to like damage my house. Can we like attract it away from me? No. Okay, that’s fine. Oh, we have a bunny. Oh, look how cute it is. It’s really. Okay, I don’t want it to drown. Dog. We need a dog. Whoa, there’s so many like caves in this area as well. That’s nuts. And we found pumpkins as well. I swear this is perfect. We can make pumpkin pie, I think if that’s a useful thing. We’ll leave some for the wild so they can make their own pumpkin pie. We’ll go this way. This is really interesting. We have like an underwater mine near us. You can see it’s like split into two caves, which is kind of interesting. I’m excited to like dive into that. Is that a dog? Oh my gosh. Okay. Please, please. I have four bones. I have four bones. Please. One, two, three. Oh my gosh. We have a pet dog. We have a pet dog. Okay, guys. Now, this is going to be really important. What do you want this dog to be called? I’m going to look at the comments even though this is literally the start of the series. Has to be appropriate. If there’s no appropriate comments then I’ll get to name it. But what do you think we should name our new companion for the start of this series? He looks really cool in his red collar. I like that. And he’s one of the default dogs as well, which is cool because I know they reskinned um a lot of dogs. Also, I do need to eat. I’m aware of that. So let’s just go back. Go back past the spiky bushes. I hope my dog doesn’t get hurt. It looks like he got hurt by one. That’s annoying. Oh, he’s going to get so injured with these berry bushes right here as well, isn’t he? Like, like just like myself. Do not walk through them. Walk this way. Come on. This way. Come on. this way. Come on. There we are. Okay, perfect. Uh, welcome on in. This is the house. We have a very important task today. We need to make a nice floor now because we don’t actually have a big budget. We don’t have anything at the moment. I reckon we make a cobblestone floor. And you know, this is just going to be like a setup house. Okay. I’m giving you a lot of stuff to talk about, aren’t I? You look really concerned and anxious. Don’t you worry. We will make you a little spot as well. For now, we are going to sort out our floors. And there is a cool technique you can do where you can actually use the cobblestone into slabs and then you can actually like make more floor with less cobblestone which is kind of useful. Let’s check out what we have access to in our crafting menu. We have quite a few cobblestone slabs that we can craft. So, I’m going to do that. Do we have a shovel? We do have a shovel. Perfect. You’re loving this new house, aren’t you? He doesn’t know what to do with himself. He’s so so excited. Let’s just dig this all out. And then we can put our cobblestone floor in. Now, I wonder what we should call him. Maybe Archer. Archie. Something like Archer. Archer the dog. I don’t know. I’ll let you guys decide on that one. That’s cool. He’s so cute. Let’s get rid of this. Perfect. I think the shovel’s just about to break, but we should I reckon we should just have enough. Maybe. Oh, do we have just enough? One, two, three. And then we need to do the doors. That’s perfect. We literally just had enough. Um, I’m going to get the cobblestone. We’re going to put this right here. A random box just a random black box just appeared on my screen. I have no clue what that means, but it’s gone now. Let’s put these doors in. Like so. This is looking terrible, but I mean, it’s a first house and I haven’t actually played Minecraft for such a proper time. Let’s fill this in right here like this. Perfect. Oh, I forgot. You can actually like put the torches under the ground. Like I think you can do one here and one here. So, like if we do this, then like mine the dirt. Place a torch. Mine the dirt. Place a torch. We can actually cover that up. And I’m pretty sure it keeps it lit. Yeah, look at that. That’s cool. Okay, let’s do that. We’re going to do some over here as well. Let’s do one here and one over here. Oh, hello. Popped out of nowhere. Okay. So that’s one major problem with this design. If you fall down the hole, you get stuck. So, we need to make sure that we don’t do that. Um, an awesome thing as well, we’re getting a lot of dirt. So if we want to terraform the area a bit later where we like change the look of everything, like the environment, we certainly can do that. Let’s pull out our slabs again and just keep on going. And we’re going to want to put these slabs under the bed as well. Now, I didn’t realize that the bed I maybe on Java Edition it breaks the bed, but I swear the bed should break when nothing’s under it, but I’m not complaining. Um, and I don’t have to set my respawn point again. Just do this. Oopsies. Just didn’t mean to do that. Actually, while I’m, just put this meat in. Perfect. Let’s fill this section in. And look at this. We have a full lit house. Maybe let’s just get rid of this. And this is perfect. You’ve already made your home at the bed. In fact, I want you to sit on the bed because I don’t want to lose you. It’s too cute. Actually, maybe we need to make like a little spot for him as well cuz technically that still is the floor. So I reckon we’re going to need more wool. My plan is that we can have like a little carpet area maybe and he can lay on it in this corner just to make this room seem a little bit nicer. And yeah, that might be perfect. Uh oh. Controller’s disconnecting again. Okay, we’re back. And I need to put torches out again. I need to put torches out. This I need to put torches like as far and wide around this house as possible. There is a creeper following me and I cannot run. I cannot run. Hang on. This is bad. This is really bad. It’s not following me still, is it? No. Okay. So, as long as we have light, we should be fine. Okay. And I think that we’ve done really well. I’m going to place another torch here. We got some zombies over there, which I do not want to get involved with. And we need to go back to the house. This front of the house looks really ugly. Like really ugly. So, we’re going to have to fix that quite a bit. Let’s grab our mutton. Looks delicious. I’m sorry. You can’t eat any. You ate like four bones, so I think we’re fine. Berries. I feel like we need to make maybe that’s what the front of the house can be. The front of the house can be like some berry bushes, like some fancy berry bushes that you can harvest if you’re hungry. So, I reckon we need to make the front of the house look a little bit more like natural. Right now this area is not blending in whatsoever. It just looks like I just built a slab on top of this random place. We need to make this place look nicer, though. So, I reckon if I just make it look all natural and blend it in with the ground, I think you should be okay. Um, we’ll add like a staircase here maybe or like a slab case. We’re going to put the berry bushes right here. So let’s just plant them. And to stop myself from walking into them. Oh, that pig. I thought that pig was about to do that. I’m going to put some like stone slabs on top of them maybe. And then that can be like the nice look of the house. So, we need more stone. Or maybe we could put trap doors. Trap doors could look kind of nice. I think trap doors or slabs. Or maybe do even need slabs? Does that kind of look nice like that? Maybe we can put some berry bushes down here as well. I just don’t want to get pricked by them. We’ll start like this for now. It’s looking nice. So I’m going to quickly make this area look a bit nicer. Now, if I do this, it’s a very steep drop to like the actual water, which is kind of not great. Have any more dirt? Yes. Oh my god. What the hell? Wait, what? You guys shouldn’t be doing that. Please don’t give me heart attacks. Please don’t kill my character. I need to survive. I forgot that they can come out of water. And I also forgot that zombies can see quite a far distance. But as long as I can hit them, then we’re fine. What is that orange? Is that a fox? Oh yeah. We had foxes last time. I think that that was the baby that grew up. Is it scared of me? It’s scared of me. Okay, so that’s not the fox. I think this is nice. Maybe we’ll get rid of these two pieces of dirt and then it’s fine. Okay, these drowns are really struggling to get out of the water. There’s a lot of drowns. Holy moly. And they can see really far away. So we need to light up. We need to light up the other side of the river as well because I see that a lot of the enemies and stuff are spawning over there, which isn’t great. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. No, no, no, no. Well, we got some string. You are fast. And it looks like you’ve decided to come out of the water as well. No way. Fortunately, we’re going to have to eat rotten flesh. Still a little bit dark. We’re going to need to chop some more trees down when it’s daytime, just to maybe put some storage down and also to make some more torches. We do have five pieces of coal, so I’m going to make use of that. Let’s craft some torches like so and then just put those out across the other side of the river when it’s daytime. Let’s get rid of this massive humongous tree. That is ginormous. I don’t think I’m going to be able to chop this all down. I need to place some more dirt. We will need to replant these trees as well. That creeper has made eye contact with me. And a bad thing is as well I can’t hear any sounds at the moment. I’m playing this like death. I can’t hear if a creeper sneaks up behind me. But yeah, let’s do this and chop this wood here. Let’s craft some barrels. You can see these bushes are already becoming dangerous. Oh, you can make copper bars. I wonder do they oxidize as well? Let’s craft some planks and some slabs. Is that how you make a barrel? Craft some more spruce planks and then we make some more slabs like that. That we can make four barrels. Let’s make five barrels right now. And where should we store stuff right now? I think we’ll walk in and maybe all the storage should be like over here. So you walk in. Is that a bad idea? I’m thinking of a storage wall here, like it’s all storage and then like the dog bed can go here when we name him. My bed will be here as well. This is perfect. Now we need to sort these. Food in one. Ores. Wood. I’m not going to put those tools in cuz I will chuck them out. And these can just be random items that you can collect. Also, I’m going to put the spruce saplings in the food for now. Now, while we have time, let’s put some torches out here so we don’t get mobs spawning and then deciding to come across to our house. Oh my gosh, I love these. These are the brand new Firefly bushes. How do you harvest them? Do you can you break it like this? Can. Okay, perfect. I want to put some of these around my house. They look amazing at nighttime. Oh, this whole place. Do I want to wreck this place? As long as there’s like one, oh these light up the area though. Let’s put some lighting on this island over here as well because we don’t want stuff to spawn. And let’s come over here. We don’t want anything to spawn over here as well. Oh the torch there. So like one over here. I love these firefly bushes. I want to put them like outside of the house. So at night time the house glows. Maybe we’ll put one here because I know if you put them underground the light blocks them and I think they create fireflies automatically. You can see we have some fireflies already spawning. Do the fireflies get into the house? They are in the house. Okay, maybe we’ll reassess that. Let’s just put the firefly bushes like near the river just so we have some fireflies. Now, we need glass. I reckon we need to put some windows in as well. So for now, I broke the bush and then I’ll set up the windows. Let’s recycle that wood as well. Resources are scarce. Now let’s go over to this nice little sand area and we need to grab eight pieces of sand. Perfect. Let’s swim around and get all of this. Awesome. Do we have enough? Two might be enough. And then this will look so cool. We have these awesome berry bushes which provide a really good food source for us. Maybe I’ll make a berry farm. These are a really good source of food. We might collect some leather as well. Oh man, these are so sick. I love the animation on them. Come on. I hope we have enough fuel. And we don’t want to misclick anything. This is looking so cool guys. Look at this. We have windows. We have a new dog, which please put your name suggestions in the description. Keeping it positive. We have some food sources at the front. We have windows. We have like a roof over our heads. We have an awesome river with like an actual food source of fish. I just have to make sure that we don’t get killed by those drowned things.
