Discover Secret Paintings in Minecraft: A Simple Tutorial

Welcome to an exciting journey where you will learn about unlocking secret paintings in Minecraft that will add a unique touch to your builds. This guide is specifically tailored for Java Edition players. If you’re interested in a Bedrock Edition guide, don’t hesitate to express your interest in the comments!

The recent 1.20 update in Minecraft has introduced a host of new features, simplifying the process of acquiring exclusive items in the game. Today, we’re focusing on obtaining those elusive secret paintings that can transform your gaming environment.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing Secret Paintings

To kick things off, you’ll need operator permissions in your game. These permissions are crucial for accessing a hidden tab where magical items reside. Here’s how you can activate these permissions:

  1. Begin by pressing the Escape key, which opens up the game menu.
  2. Next, click on Options to delve deeper into your game settings.
  3. Within Options, locate and click on Controls.
  4. Amongst the controller settings, there’s a feature called the Operator Items Tab. Toggle this feature to turn it on.

It’s important to note that activating this option alone won’t display anything new. You’ll need to open your inventory to see the change.

Unveiling the Operator Utilities Tab

Upon pressing E to check your inventory post changes, a secret tab should now be visible: the Operators Utilities Tab. It’s your portal to various secret items available in the game, including the legendary debug stick and, of course, the focus of this guide—the four secret paintings.

The secret paintings include:

  • Earth
  • Wind
  • Water
  • Fire

You can effortlessly pick these paintings and add them to your inventory. Each painting is a two-by-two block, offering a visually appealing aesthetic that can enhance any Minecraft world. Personal favorites might vary, but the brown painting certainly stands out with its unique appeal.

Conclusion

Unlocking these paintings not only enhances your gameplay experience but also gives you bragging rights among your fellow players. These steps are straightforward, ensuring you can quickly access these incredible pieces of art in your gaming realm.

Video Transcript

Hey everybody, it’s Anna McCapp, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to get all of these super secret paintings in Minecraft. This tutorial is for Java Edition, but if you are on Bedrock, don’t forget to leave a like and comment that you want me to do this for Bedrock. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it! You can see these items, or these paintings, behind me. You can’t usually get these by placing normal paintings on a wall, but with the new 1.20 update, it makes it super easy and simple to get them. So, let’s go straight into the tutorial. First of all, you’ll want to have operator permissions. To get this, hit the escape key on Java and click on options. Once you’re in options, head over to controls, and you’ll see a setting that says “Operator Items Tab.” We want to turn this on. When you do, nothing seems to happen until you actually hit “E” to check your inventory, and then this secret operators utilities tab pops up. When you click on this tab, you will notice all of the super secret items, including the debug stick. This makes it so much easier to access, including the four secret paintings: Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. I’m going to put those into my inventory, and you can see that we now have the paintings. The paintings are a 2×2 block and look really cool in this world. Personally, I think the brown one looks super cool. If you found this video helpful, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe. I can’t wait to see you in the next video! See ya!
