Okay, so I’m really hoping that this stream is now working. I tried to do a live stream before, so fingers crossed this is working. I’m just going to set up my little camera here so I can talk to it. Let’s see if this goes. I really hope it’s live. Can someone please let me know if this is live? So, we’re streaming right now to YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok all at once, which is really cool. If I could just get someone to let me know that this is going ahead. I do apologize; there was a stream before, but for some reason, it crashed. I don’t know why it crashed! But we’re back. You can see it’s a beautiful day in Minecraft VR, and we have a lot of stuff to do. If you haven’t already watched the series, by the way, definitely check out the first episode on the YouTube channel. Is there one or two episodes? No, it’s actually one—I can’t count! But please go check that out as it’s kind of an introduction to how we got here. So if I bring this over here… Hey, Four! How are you doing? Four from YouTube, what’s up? I’m going to bring the camera all the way over here. This is what we did last time: we made a really nice food farm. Because of the biome we’re in, there are a whole bunch of sweet berries everywhere, so it provides a really nice food source to get started with. We also caught some fish in the last episode, so that should be quite useful as well. Also, please let me know if the quality is good. I think the bird sounds in the background might be a bit too loud, but that’s alright. We have fish, but I don’t think it’s cooked. Is it cooked? It’s really hard in VR to see if it’s cooked. Is cooked fish more pale? I don’t know if that’s cooked or not. Well, I guess there’s only one way to find out! So, what we’re going to do is take it over to the furnace. A really cool thing about this is that I have a mod installed that allows you to place stuff onto the furnace. You can see we have… that’s weird; it should be cooking that salmon. But you can actually interact with the furnace rather than just opening it up. So I can physically click on that fish. So you can see I added—excuse me—why can I not add…? Okay, there we are. Added 30 fish. It should be cooking! Why is it not cooking? Where’s the coal gone? Coal, coal, coal! Yep, we need the coal. Where do I find the coal in my inventory? Now, I don’t know if you can see this inventory that I opened up. Last time, we did get one of the brand new items in one of the updates, and I actually don’t know if it’s too new or not. It’s the ominous potion. So, that’s what you get when you kill one of the pillagers. We don’t want to drink that because I really don’t want to deal with that right now. You can see I’m literally wearing no iron or diamonds, so that is definitely a priority. We need to take… So, let’s put that potion back in my inventory because we do not want to open that back up. Let’s put the coal in the furnace because we obviously want to cook a little bit more fish. Honestly, I don’t know why it’s not cooking. Oh! I’m such an idiot! It’s cooked fish! It’s cooked! I’m putting cooked fish in there. So, it’s cooked salmon. We have a good food source. I’m going to eat that right now because I’m very hungry. The weird thing is you can’t actually see the UI on your screen; you can only see it on my arm. I can see the chat and everything on my arm as well, so it’s a really cool way to be able to see everything. But today’s mission is to build a house because Minecraft VR is scary, and I want a house to stay in knowing that I’m not going to get exploded by a creeper. So first of all, I think… do we have an axe from last episode? We have no axe. Okay, good. We have a lot of wood, so we can craft some. I do have a lot of stone, so we can also craft a stone axe. We have 21 iron as well. I think I’m going to save that for armor actually. Since we’re only staying in this area, I’m not going to craft any armor yet. If I die, it’s not a big issue. So we have to be strategic with the materials—very strategic. Oh, you can’t see it? Okay, hang on; can you see it now? Oh, it’s a bit hard to show if I like move the camera. Can you see that? You can kind of see it. You can see this is my inventory. So we have the ominous potion, some moss carpet… the last episode we recorded was so long ago that I can’t even remember how we got that. We don’t need a wooden axe. How do you get rid of that? I don’t know how to get rid of stuff; it looks like we’re going to be stuck with that. But yeah, let’s craft. Let’s go to the crafting table. We’re going to craft a nice axe. That’s awesome! Put that in our hand. Awesome! So now we have an axe. Let’s go and chop some trees down. Tree chopping is really difficult because you have to put so much effort into actually chopping the trees. So we’re going to try and find some small trees. Let’s move this camera around so you can see where we’re going. Let’s chop these ones; they look kind of nice to chop. I reckon they’re not too tall, not the worst. No, they should be okay. Let’s move a little bit closer and grab one of our axes like this. Hello! How are you doing, Rock The Slayer? Welcome to the chat! I’m just chopping down these trees over here. You definitely cannot see me; that’s too far away from the camera. It’s really hard keeping track of this camera because the camera just does not follow you. So that’s okay; I have to actually chop stuff down. You really have to hit them. It’s not just mining with a button; you actually have to swing your hand at the block. So we’re going to have to jump in real life to smack these pieces of wood down like so. I mean, you can mine if it’s far away, though—that’s a good part of this. Chop that down! It really adds to the game, I reckon, having this sort of mechanic of being able to step into it. So, we have more wood. I don’t actually know how much wood we’re going to need, but we’ll chop this tree down as well. Very, very cool. Have any of you guys ever played Minecraft VR before? This is quite a different experience from regular Minecraft. Being able to step in, I have to say, is pretty scary at times when you are hunted down by a whole bunch of zombies because they’re massive—they’re actually massive in this game, all the enemies and stuff, super big. Okay, we’re getting this part. I apologize; I’m currently in the middle of a tree right now trying to just get this wood. I don’t know if the camera can like see or not. Oh my god, this is such a tall tree! I apologize; I will be out of the tree very soon. Actually, I wonder if I can just toggle the camera off. I wonder… Can you see my POV now? Let’s see; I don’t know if you can see my POV now or not, but you can see my arms. See how high up that piece of wood is? It’s too far away! Do you guys prefer the first-person point of view, or do you prefer being able to see through the camera? I’m not too sure which one’s better. I think the first person gives you a lot of angle! And I think I accidentally started a vertical stream on YouTube, so I apologize for that. It’s my first time using this streaming program. Let’s jump up; we can make a treehouse, right? That’s kind of a cool little feature. Let’s see if we can chop that down. There we are! Okay, so the tree will start falling apart now. How cool would that be to build a little treehouse up here? We have all the tree stuff, right? It’s very cool! But let’s just chop this down. The reason why I keep on looking at my wrist is just to make sure you guys can see properly because I’m not too sure if the angles and stuff work or not, but so far, I think it’s pretty decent. So let’s go over here; we got another tree to chop as well. Let’s chop that tree down. Oh my gosh, so much effort! We’ll put some more wood on the ground as well. Jump up! So the really cool thing about this world is I actually host it on a server. My plan of attack is to get you guys to join and interact with live streams and stuff once I get this all set up, so it’ll be a very cool project. Right now, it’s not quite finished. Oh, what? Oh, that’s the backpack! I forgot how to use it! Now I can’t get rid of it. What the hell? How do you move it? Oh, you really have to reach it! Okay, interesting—very interesting! So let’s go this way; we got some more wood, so that’s good. Now I’m trying to figure out where we
