Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you all the new particles in Minecraft 1.20. This video will work for both Java and Bedrock Editions. This section is recorded in Java, but if you keep watching, I’ll show you how to do it in Bedrock Edition. As you can see behind me, I have found three new particles. Usually, there are quite a few to discover. Let’s start off with the basics. The archaeology update adds a brand new mechanic where you can brush suspicious sand. Oh my gosh, it took me so long to say that! When you brush these specific blocks, you will notice a special particle effect coming off of them. You’re probably thinking, “Hey, I’ve seen that before!” That’s exactly correct! This particle here is actually from the block command, and it’s really cool because I’ve just set it to sand, but you can set it to any block. In this update, it’s specific to these types of blocks that have the suspicious tag. Now, onto the next two particles. We have the egg crack command. This is more for these types of blocks; I’m pretty sure they emit this particle. When you click it, you can see this nice green particle. It might have been for other updates, but I’m not sure. If you know, please comment in the description down below. You can see that is the next new particle, and I’ll show you the command to get it: `/particle Minecraft:egg_crack`, then you need to do your positioning and delta points. I just did a simple 0.2, then 0, 10, and force at 0. Now, let’s move on to the last one, which is actually one of my favorite particles in the whole game. You can even see it behind me; look how cool this looks! It just makes this whole area feel so much better. The cherry leaves particle is a brand new one that looks amazing with these pink petals, which is super cool, along with the leaves. To get this command, all you need to do is type in `/particle Minecraft:cherry_leaves`. By the way, everyone, the commands are in the description as well if you want to copy and paste them into your world. Please note this one will not work on Bedrock, but I will show you how to do that right now. Okay, so now we are in Bedrock Edition. It looks a bit different for some reason, but you can see the command block here. The particle effects look identical for the cherry blossom in Bedrock Edition. To simply get this, all you need to do is type in this specific command, which I will also put in the description. This command will summon cherry particle leaves wherever you want. This will spawn at one block above you. When I press this, it places a lot above it. If you see that text in the corner, which can be annoying, you can actually remove it by using the command `gamerule commandBlockOutput false`. This works on both Java and Bedrock, so you can do that, and you will notice that we don’t get that annoying message anymore. The particles still look absolutely amazing! If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe; it would be greatly appreciated. I’m going to post a whole bunch more about this update very soon. These new particles are just so cool! If you noticed any others, please comment them in the description below. Thank you so much, and I can’t wait to see you in the next one. See ya!
