Has Minecraft Just Released a New Game? Exploring SoulSteel

Okay, so I’ve actually wanted to dive into this for so long. Minecraft has like released a new game or at least I think it’s a new game called Soul Steel.So, I’m going to dive straight into this and while it loads. It’s apparently like an online interactive type of server. Oh my gosh, there’s a lot to download. And to be fair, I did jump onto it like as soon as I saw it. I haven’t actually gone anywhere further than the introduction, but we’ll see what it’s like, I guess.Okay. So we like literally dive straight into a story. When you heard the town cry speak Port Fortuna, you immediately brought a ticket on the next airship, the home of this blah blah blah blah. You wake up and your airship’s destroyed. Your luggage is gone and fire rages around you.What? Okay, this is interesting. So, it looks like first of all, I’ve lost my skin, but second of all, it looks like we have crashed. Unfortunately, our airship has crashed into quite literally a ditch. But it looks like we have some new players with us as well, which are learning.Oh wow. Look at this. It’s got its own like custom animation. I know I’m not my actual skin at the moment. I’m a Steve. But that is still really cool.Okay, it says find a way out of the crash site. So, I guess we’re going to find our way out of the crash site. This is kind of like a little cool tutorial, I guess, to kind of figure out what we’re doing.Okay. Interesting. So, that is health potions. Oh, and I’ve noticed at the very bottom of the screen, our health bar is different. It’s got like a Yeah, it’s different. There’s also a blue bar as well, which I’ll figure out.Whoa, look at these. Okay, I like the fighting mechanics. This is really cool. So, they will all spawn there. That’s really cool. Okay, I like this already. I’m not going to stay behind cuz I feel like they’re just going to keep on spawning. But let’s go this way. It looks like we have found our way out.And we have to talk to this stranger guy. Now, obviously, we don’t hit him. Huzzah! Another survivor. I’m working on a way out of here. But while you wait, I wonder if you’ll be interested in helping me with a few odd jobs.Okay, sure. Surely if we want to get out of this hole, we just walk up, right?One, it looks like I said yes. I need you to go into this ruined temple and collect some treasure. We need it for another airship. And I’ll owe you.Behind me, there’s a large magical portal with a burning lantern in front of it. That lantern’s called the Chrono Keeper, and it powers its power allows you to pass into the dungeon. If you need to enter the dungeon, collect a pile of coins and get out. But you better be quick. The Chrono Keeper flame runs a little low.Okay. Interesting. So, we can interact with him by clicking. Every time I click on him, he gets hit.Okay, so when you attack, you can either attack or place block, and it does the same thing.Now, is this the thing we’re unlocking? No. Okay. So, we’re going to just jump straight into this portal. I’m imagining that’s the fire thing, I think. Yes.Okay. So, we have 30 seconds. 30 seconds to get as much gold as we can and then leave.Okay. So it starts right now. Let’s get some gold quick. Okay, so you have to run into it.Any more gold? Oh my gosh, this is terrible. The game’s not terrible. I’m just doing such a okay.I made it. That was terrible. Rank E.Well, I guess we’re going to have to speak to that guy and just tell him how bad we did cuz yeah. Wait, that’s it? That’s not nearly enough. We need more.Okay. Well, we’re going to have to go back into that dungeon, I guess, to get more gold. I do like the style of this. This is actually kind of cool already.So, this time, let’s enter the dungeon and do this better. So, it looks like everything spawn. Okay, we have some gold here. We have some gold here.16 seconds left. Can we open that? No, I think we don’t think we’re making it.Oh my gosh. Three. Two. Wow. Is that enough gold? That has to be enough gold. Please. Wonderful. The flame is much brighter. Now with more time, we can get more treasure. And next goal is a chest of treasure.There are many chests to be found inside of the dungeons, but they’re usually locked. Any silver key will open the locked chest, so you’ll need a key.Okay. Find a silver key when you head back inside. Feel free to collect treasure, but make sure you get out alive. We wouldn’t want you to lose any of it.Okay, so I wonder if like if you don’t make it out, if you lose your weapons and everything or if you just lose like I don’t know, just the situation.So, 60 seconds. Let’s do this. 60 seconds. That’s a lot more time. And now that we kind of know where everything is, we can just jump and get it. We don’t know where the silver key is, so that might be a problem.Is there like another way in or oh, here it is. Okay. Okay, we got the key. That’s cool.Okay, so let’s go back. Oh, that’s I may have just majorly screwed up there.Okay, 30 seconds left. This is actually kind of cool. So now we click on this gold. Perfect. I reckon we run for it.20 seconds left. Used to be one of airship. They’re all over the place really. They’re usually powered by soul energy collected from monsters, but I have a unique power retainer that does the trick. I don’t know how you can explore them in like such short time, but I would imagine like the better you get, the more you can like go up.It looks like you can put like boosters in as well, but we don’t have those just yet.
