How to Breed Allays in Minecraft Bedrock and Java

Hi, Minecraft enthusiasts! If you’re looking to duplicate Allays in Minecraft, you’ve come to the right place. This guide will walk you through the steps needed to breed Allays in both Bedrock and Java editions. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, this process is simple and straightforward. Let’s dive in!

What You’ll Need

  • An Amethyst Shard
  • One Allay
  • A Jukebox
  • A Music Disc

Step-by-Step Guide to Duplicating Allays

First things first, you’ll need to spawn your Allay. If you haven’t already, proceed to summon or find one in the game. Once you have your Allay, give it an item to hold, like an axe. You don’t have to use an axe specifically, but it’s crucial for the Allay to hold onto something—any item will do!

Next, place your Jukebox on the ground and insert your chosen Music Disc into it. When the music plays, watch your Allay begin to dance. This is a spectacle inspired by Minecraft Live’s trailer, where the Allays start to groove when they hear music.

Once your Allay is dancing, take an Amethyst Shard and click on the dancing Allay. Be mindful of the range; you need to be close enough to interact efficiently. When done correctly, you’ll notice the Allay will duplicate.

It’s important to note that the duplication process doesn’t duplicate the items the Allays hold. The new Allay will simply be an additional ally for you to have in the game.

Also, remember that there’s a cooldown period between duplications. You won’t be able to continuously spam the duplication process. Typically, this cooldown lasts about a minute, so be patient and plan accordingly.

Tips for Success

  • Ensure your Jukebox is accessible and the music is playing to keep your Allay dancing.
  • Stay within range when trying to use the Amethyst Shard—distance matters!
  • Be patient with the cooldown; allocating more time between duplications can help maintain the process’s efficiency.

Final Thoughts and More!

And there you have it! Duplicating Allays using an Amethyst Shard, a Jukebox, and a Music Disc is a straightforward process. With these steps, you can expand your Allay collection and enhance your Minecraft experience. Whether you’re playing on Bedrock or Java, this method is sure to add an extra layer of fun to your gameplay.

Video Transcript

Hey everybody, it’s Under My Cap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to duplicate Allays in Minecraft. This is super simple and works on both Bedrock and Java Editions. All you need is an Amethyst Shard, an Allay, a Jukebox, and a music disc. First, let’s spawn our Allay. I’m going to give it an axe for now just to ensure it can hold onto something. Now you can see it has an axe or an item in its hand. Next, place the Jukebox down and insert a music disc into it. If you watched the trailer for Minecraft Live, you may have noticed that Allays start to dance when they hear music. Now, as you can see, the Allays have started to spin. Just a note, you only need one Allay for this process; the one you see here is just an additional one. Once they begin dancing, you simply click on them with an Amethyst Shard. Oh my gosh, it’s out of range! But once they start dancing, simply click on them with an Amethyst Shard, and you’ll notice that they duplicate. Unfortunately, it doesn’t duplicate the items, but it does create two separate Allays with a cooldown between them, so you can’t constantly keep duplicating them. I think the cooldown is about a minute or so. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe to the channel; it would be greatly appreciated.
