How to Get Every Armor Trim in Minecraft

Armor trims are one of the coolest features added in the Minecraft 1.20 update. They let you customise your gear with awesome patterns and give your armor a totally unique look. The best part is that this guide works for both Java and Bedrock Edition, so no matter what you play on, you can collect them all.

In this post, we will go through every single armor trim and tell you exactly where to find each one. Let’s jump right in!

All Armor Trims and Where to Find Them

Sentry Trim

The Sentry trim can be found at a Pillager Outpost. It looks a bit like a plus sign and has a really cool design.

Vex Trim

You can find the Vex trim in Woodland Mansions. It looks like a little “y” shape.

Wild Trim

The Wild trim is located in Jungle Temples. The pattern on this one looks really neat.

Coast Trim

This is one of the favourites! The Coast trim comes from shipwrecks and even looks like it has barnacles on it because it is found underwater.

Dune Trim

If you explore a Desert Temple, there is a good chance you will find the Dune trim inside one of the chests. You can also get it by brushing away suspicious sand.

Wayfinder Trim

The Wayfinder trim is found in Trail Ruins. It has a brown look and almost resembles an upside down “N”.

Raiser Trim

Also found in Trail Ruins, the Raiser trim looks like two lines placed next to each other.

Shaper Trim

The Shaper trim is another one you can find in Trail Ruins. It kind of looks like an “F”.

Ward Trim

The Ward trim is a bit harder to get because it is found in the Ancient City, where the Warden lurks. It has a cool face-like design that looks amazing.

Silence Trim

The Silence trim is even scarier looking and is one of the coolest of them all. It is also probably the hardest one to get, so wearing it is a real flex.

Tide Trim

Found in Ocean Monuments, the Tide trim looks like it is frosted over with ice, which makes it super cool.

Spire Trim

The Spire trim can be found in End Cities. It has a purple tint thanks to the purple blocks around it.

Eye Trim

The Eye trim is located in Strongholds, kind of like the Eye of Ender. It looks awesome and would probably look great with an emerald colour.

Rib Trim

The Rib trim looks pretty cool, though it is quite dark. Because of that, it might not stand out as much on Netherite armor.

Snout Trim

The final trim is the Snout, which can be found in Bastions. Since piglins live there, it has a snout theme that fits right in.

Final Thoughts

And that is every armor trim in Minecraft! Collecting them all is a fun challenge that takes you across almost every structure in the game, from Pillager Outposts to Ancient Cities. Mix and match different trims with different materials to create your own personal style.

If you found this guide helpful, be sure to try out a few of these trims for yourself. Happy adventuring and good luck collecting them all!
