Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to use the clear command in Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition. So, without further ado, let’s get straight into this. The clear command in Minecraft allows you to clear your inventory as well as the inventories of other players in the game, which is super useful. As you can see, my inventory here is really messy, and I can’t be bothered going through and dragging items or shift-clicking to clear them all. Instead, we can use the clear command to clear the inventory. To use the clear command, open up the command terminal and type in “/clear” followed by your name. Boom! Your inventory is cleared. There are also other things you can do with the clear command. For instance, if I make my inventory messy again and fill it with copper that I really don’t need, you can simply use “@s” to clear your inventory more easily. You can also clear a random player’s inventory, which could be frustrating. If a random player in your world is doing something normal, they could lose everything. Using “@p” targets the nearest player. If you execute this command with yourself, you’ll clear your own inventory. However, if there’s a command block and another player is the closest to it, their inventory will be cleared instead. That’s basically it! The clear command can be used to clear your inventory, other players’ inventories, and it can also be utilized in command blocks. I didn’t show it to you in command blocks because it’s basically the same command, just entered in the command block interface.
