Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome to this channel update. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it. As you can see right off the bat, I’ve decided to completely rebrand the channel. It’s a slight rebrand, but I wanted to make it seem a little more uplifting, add some color, and make it brighter. I have also applied this new color scheme to all elements of my channel. You can see the brand new user profile picture is a bit lighter and features a nice blue gradient. The channel banner is now a beautiful blue with an awesome Minecraft-style name, because I love Minecraft and will continue to create content around it. It’s just nice to present it this way because I tend to talk with my hands. Moving on, I’m also going to try out a new way to brand my thumbnails. You will notice that on my new video thumbnails, there will be a nice blue border with my little logo in the corner, making it clear that it’s from me. I hope this helps more people discover the videos I create and adds a bit of transparency regarding the video’s content. Another change I’m implementing is my approach to editing. I’m a bit fed up with fast-paced editing. Don’t get me wrong; I believe editing is essential for eliminating breaks in a video and making it more appealing to viewers. However, I want to step back and try a different approach. You’ll notice that some of my videos may change in style a bit, and some of my shorts might be a little slower. I enjoy connecting with you, being able to talk a bit more, and staying authentic. Including my accidental mistakes will add to the video’s charm. I hope you like this brand new update.
