Hey everybody, it’s UnderMyCap, and welcome back to another video! Today, I’m going to show you how to make your Minecraft servers and worlds have no player sleep limit. This basically means that instead of requiring every player to sleep on a server, you can have just one player sleep, and the whole night will change. You can also set it so that it’s a percentage as well, so if you want 50% of players to sleep, we can set it to that. Without further ado, let’s get straight into this. As you can see, I have another player connected on Bedrock. If I hit him, he gets a little bit upset. This method works on both Bedrock and Java editions. Now, let’s dive into the command. The command we want to use is a game rule. First, we want to type in a slash and then simply type in “game rule.” After that, we want to type in “players,” followed by a capital “S” for “sleeping.” You’ll notice it pops up, so we can just hit tab to complete it. If you’re on Bedrock, unfortunately, you will have to type out the rest of this command, but once you’ve done that, we can move on to the next part of the command. If you only want one player to be able to skip the night for everyone, just type in a negative one. If you want to set a certain percentage of players needed to skip the night, you can type in that percentage. For example, if we have 10 players online and want five players to sleep in order to skip the night, I would type in 50, since that represents 50% of the players. Let’s say you want just one player, though, to skip the whole night for everyone. In that case, you would type in a negative one and hit enter. After doing so, you will notice that the game rule updates. Now, let me quickly give myself a bed and set the time to midnight. As you can see, everything is pitch black, and there are two players online. If I hit tab, you can see me and the other account. If I actually sleep in the bed, it will display “sleeping through this night.” Once that appears or disappears, you will know it has worked. If you enjoyed the video, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe! I can’t wait to see you in the next video. Also, don’t forget to comment on what I should do next!
