Hey everybody, it's under my cap and welcome back to another video where today we're back in our Minecraft world and we've got quite a bit to do. Now, I am a bit annoyed because I accidentally recorded I think 35 minutes of footage just then, but I actually forgot to record the gameplay. So, it was just me talking. So, pretty much what I just did before was I tidied up this farm. Ouch.

I tidied up this farm area. You can see, I've hoed a little bit more, but I actually did this awesome method where you can hide the water. Crops need to be within a range of water for them to grow efficiently. You need to place water buckets near them. And so, what I've actually done is you can see just through like there's like a hollow hole here. I'll see if I can show you guys. But I've hidden water underneath the trees. My idea is to make use of trees to hide the water in this world for the farm. So, you can see I'm going to plant another tree over here because this area is getting a little bit dry.

But our wheat farm is getting super good. You can see we got quite a few crops growing now. We also do have some crops growing down here as well. Also another thing I did was I added some staircases here just so I'm not constantly jumping up and crushing these crops here or the hoed floor. So, you can see I can just walk nicely up here.

We actually used a stone cutter to help us like be more efficient with our stone and just recycle it a bit more so we can use stone a lot more.

Because the footage did actually not get recorded and I have to say this now. I did some off camera mining technically. Don't worry, it wasn't a lot. We got some iron. So we got eight raw iron. We also got I think like 64 copper. And that was only from like a tiny amount of mining. When the video didn't record, we did go down here and we did some mining. We didn't go that way. I probably should go that way. I did go this way. Um and I found a few things. You can see in the distance that there's some like bubble columns. These pulled us down so we could mine.

I'm aware that we do have coal over here as well. I'll get that when we need it, I think, just because no one wants to watch me mine coal.

Because of how interesting this area is right now, like with the rivers like being like full mines, I'm very interested to dive back in and see what we can find, especially going that way.

Now I think doors help with mining. So, we're going to craft some doors. Unless they get water logged. I don't know if that's a Java or a bedrock thing.

Let's go out here. Our beautiful house is looking amazing right now. Ow.

Also, I'm so annoyed that it didn't record was this guy still doesn't have a name. It's kind of my fault because of the way the videos are uploading. The actual video where I discover this beautiful guy is getting published this Saturday. So, what day will it be? I honestly don't know what day it'll be getting published, but in that video, you guys will come up with a name for him. We'll give him just a temporary name. I'm just going to call him dog for now. He's super cool. He's just been on my bed. I don't want him to die because I'm actually not prepared enough to like keep on looking after him. But I do have his favorite snack and that is rotten flesh. So we will feed you that right now.

We do need to get some more ores. We also might go fish hunting as well. How do you craft a fishing rod? It's like two strings and two sticks. I think that might be a little interesting thing to do. Maybe we can make like a new segment or something. But let's go mining. That's a good idea.

Grab some iron. Maybe diamonds. Diamond would be really awesome to find in this episode, except I think they've changed the way mines work now. I think it's very much different in the form of like diamonds are found right at the bottom of the map which is like 64 or something.

That is absolutely crazy.

So let's eat up. I think I've got everything I need for mining pretty much. We do have my iron, so I'm going to put that away just in case we die because I don't want to die and lose heaps of progress. That would be super duper annoying.

Let's put away the excess berries, and we don't need the wheat. We want to put our iron away. Nice, safe, and sound. We'll keep the copper just in case. Let's also put our staircases away because we do not need staircases at all.

I don't remember having an extra Firefly bush. That's kind of thrown me off guard. We'll put that somewhere.

I am going to keep these broken items in my inventory because you actually can combine them with other items to make them more durable. So like I could put this copper pickaxe here and combine it with this one here. And yeah, we get like a more efficient pickaxe.

Plant these seeds and let's find a mine to mine in.

Also, I just love the Minecraft music. It is so cool.

We can go this way. I think it might be dangerous, but we can see.

Oh my goodness. I thought that we were breathing properly. I just forgot to breathe. Oh, look at that. Sorry. I woke him up. Okay.

Let's go down here and see what's down here. Any mines?

We have iron. Okay, let's breathe. Let's take a nice breath and get that mine, get that iron.

Oh, there's two pieces of iron. Let's get that and swim up. Oh no, we're going to drown. We're going to drown again. I'm really bad with figuring out water and stuff.

Let's get that other piece of iron.

I don't like it when it's night because we have those really annoying drowns that come out and decide to just attack us constantly.

Okay, let's just go to sleep. Go to sleep. Then we'll start mining again.

Please. I don't want to die from the drowns. They actually freak me out. They are super scary.

Awesome. Okay, it is a brand new day. Hello again, dog. We're going to eat this up and just go straight to the mines.

Are there any other mines nearby that don't involve water? Because mining through water is really frustrating.

Okay, we're going to have to just okay, wait. There is a part there. It's just a ditch full of water. That's so funny.

Let's go down here. We got coal. We may as well get the coal like just make it seem like I've been productive with my time.

And let's get this coal. Oh, there's no way there's iron. There's heaps of iron. This is interesting. Wait, so there's coal and iron mixed together. Is that possible to spawn? I don't think I've seen that before.

I just love this music.

Did we pick up that coal? We did. Okay, we're on 11 XP points. I think that's pretty good.

We can't use an enchantment table just yet, but we do have a lot of experience.

Very cool. I really just want to find a normal mine. Like, is that hard to find?

So, if we just walk this way, we should be fine. I am a little bit hopeless with directions.

Oh, are you serious? There's water in it. Yes. Okay. We have a actual no, we don't.

What is my luck with these mines?

At least we got iron.

Please don't be a dead end. It's a dead end.

Okay, now this is where I've lost direction.

Okay, we live near that tall mountain. I see the house. So, we just always need to look for our house is between the two tall mountains.

Let's keep on going.

Jesus music. So, this is the new music. It reminds me of like the Minecraft Dungeons music a little bit.

There has to be a mine somewhere. Is this a mine? It is. And this one looks really promising.

So let's put some torches down.

Oh, god. This is scary.

Quit. Save it. Quit.

That's terrible. I don't have my sword in my hand. What am I thinking?

Please have despawned. Nope, they haven't despawned.

Okay. That's really bad. Which way did I run? I ran that way.

And they're going to pick up all my armor. And they're going to pick up our swords and all of our copper. And we had iron. And we had coal.

That was my bad. Also, the remote decided to just drop out. Like, I had to run to my PC just then and grab the mouse and keyboard.

Okay, I'm just going to run back.

I think we've lost our stuff.

We lost our XP as well.

No, but that looks like a sick mine. And it's turning night as well.

Okay, guys. I don't know what I actually had in my inventory.

This is not good at all. It's almost night time.

Oh. Torch. Torch. There was two torches.

We go carefully carefully down here.

Okay, we're going to need to harness the zombies and then just run right past them.

Hang on. Oh my goodness gracious me. I wasn't supposed to run past them. I was supposed to run down the other path. Are you serious?

Well, if this was hardcore, the series would be over quite quickly.

So instead of jumping straight down like I did, I should have just gone the other way.

So it was roughly this way, I think. And then there's the fallen log.

The remote's really laggy. It needs to be reconnected.

Better.

So we were going this way and then this way. And there was a pond.

Hello. Oh, there's a baby fox as well.

That's pretty cool.

How long does it take for something to despawn on a realm? That's my concern.

Wait, have I been here? Hang on, hang on, hang on. Where are we? This was one of the first caves I mined in when I forgot to record.

Maybe I should have built like a tower or something before I went in.

At least we can learn from that though.

I really want to find my way back.

There's a lot of cool mines around here though.

I should be logging these coordinates. Actually, I should be writing them down.

This one's sick. This one's a sick mine. Let's just investigate it and see what it's like.

So, in this video we went backwards a bit. The other video felt so progressive and we went backwards so much.

We're fine. We can get back on our feet. We have so much copper. We have coal. We have iron.

Woodwise, we don't have wooden planks.

Okay, I guess next video is just going to be getting back on track. We're going to be a bit smarter with what we do. I'm going to make sure that my controller doesn't disconnect like that because that was such an annoying thing.
