  • 🎮 Keeps Vanilla Look: Prisma Visuals keeps Minecraft looking like the original game but adds subtle improvements to textures and mob animations
  • Adds 3D and Shine: When used with Vibrant Visuals, the pack makes everything look shiny, reflective, and 3D while keeping the pixelated Minecraft style
  • 💧 Changes Water Effects: Water gets special effects like a glassy look and wave animations that make it look more realistic

Prizma Visuals Minecraft Review: Is It Worth the Hype?

Hey everyone, it’s Under My Cap here, and welcome back to another Minecraft adventure! Today we are diving into Minecraft Bedrock with an awesome add-on called Prizma Visuals. This one competes directly against packs like Actions and Stuff, so I wanted to put it to the test and see if it really lives up to all the buzz.

First Impressions: Staying True to Vanilla

Right off the bat, one thing stood out. Prizma Visuals keeps everything looking very close to vanilla Minecraft, which is actually pretty cool. The mobs have a little more bounce to them, and there is a nice sense of movement, but nothing feels over the top.

When I checked my inventory, everything looked almost identical to the base game. I did notice some fresh copper bars I had never seen before, but that might just be from a new update rather than the pack itself.

Testing Out the Mobs

I figured the biggest changes would be with the mobs, so I grabbed a bunch of spawn eggs. The cow looked brown and moved nicely, though its eyes stayed still, unlike Actions and Stuff where the eyes move around. This tells me Prizma Visuals is really trying to keep that vanilla feel.

Then I spotted a snow fox and honestly, it looked really cool. The textures definitely felt different. The trees, the leaves, and even the ferns all had a slightly changed appearance. So there is more going on here than meets the eye at first glance.

The Big Question: Is It Worth the Money?

At first, I was a little unsure. The pack costs around 15 Australian dollars, and just walking around, it looked pretty similar to the normal game. The walking animations were a bit different, and my character even seemed to get a little fright every time I switched items. It was smooth, but not quite as polished as some other packs out there.

I was expecting something more, maybe shaders or a big visual boost. That is when it hit me. Maybe I was meant to use this with Vibrant Visuals turned on!

Turning On Vibrant Visuals: A Total Game Changer

Wow. Once I switched Vibrant Visuals on, everything transformed. Suddenly the world had a real 3D feel to it. There was volumetric fog, and even though the game is still pixelated, it looked amazing. Flying out of the snowy area into a green landscape, everything looked shiny and reflective.

I spawned in a crafting table and it looked nothing like the usual one. It was reflective and had a real depth to it. The glowstone had a cool 3D look too. Even normal mobs like chickens looked incredible without being fully remodeled.

Testing the Water Effects

Of course, I had to check out the water. The water looked glassy and clear, almost like real glass. When I went underwater, everything had a spooky distorted effect with waves rolling across the surface. It was tricky to capture on camera, but in person it looked super cool.

My Final Take on Prizma Visuals

My overall take is that Prizma Visuals keeps everything looking familiar but adds a shiny, 3D touch to it. It really shines when paired with Vibrant Visuals. I honestly cannot tell exactly where the pack ends and Vibrant Visuals begins, but the combination looks fantastic.

If you are after a pack that keeps that classic Minecraft vibe while adding a bit of extra polish and depth, this one is worth a look. It genuinely does look pretty sick!

Hey everybody, it's Under My Cap and welcome back to another video where today we are diving into Minecraft Bedrock with an awesome plugin called Prisma Visuals. Now, this kind of competes directly against plug-in actions and stuff. But we're going to see if it is worth the hype. So, you can see it keeps everything looking vanilla, which is kind of cool. We do have mobs with like a little bit more of like a bounce. I'm sliding all over the ice. But let's have a deep dive. Let's go straight into our inventory. Everything looks pretty much identical. I don't—wait. It's a brand new update, isn't it? I've never seen copper bars like that before, but I think the most improvements will be to mobs. So, let's go straight to our spawn eggs. Let's just go straight into a whole bunch of random animals. So, the cow, it's brown. I think that's different. I mean, look, it's moving. Its eyes don't move, which I know actions and stuff do. So, I guess it's trying to stay more vanilla. I am noticing like there is a bit of like a purple tint to everything. Oh, look at this snow fox. Okay, hang on. That's kind of cool. So, they've changed the texture. Have they changed the texture? I can't tell if that's Mojang that's changed the texture or if this is the texture pack. It's probably not a good idea to do it all on ice. So, let's go in here. No, it's definitely a texture change. Those trees look 100% different. And the leaves look different, too. So, everything looks slightly different. Yeah, even these like ferns, they're looking quite different as well. So, interesting.Um, it does make the game look different. Like you'll see this dirt here. Like if I remove this layer. Oh, it's grass. I mean, it looks different. There's some sort of different hinge, but like I don't know.Is it worth paying money for this? It looks very much identical. Like is it supposed to make stuff look realistic? Cuz I mean these cats have always looked like this. The walking animation's different. Even my character, he gets like a little fright every time I switch out. Like he walks differently, not as smoothly as like actions and stuff, but it still he still seems okay. I was expecting like shaders or something. Unless I'm supposed to use this with vibrant visuals. Maybe I'm supposed to use it with vibrant visuals because yeah, maybe I just am.Okay, so we're going to dive straight back in with vibrant visuals on. Maybe that will change what it looks like. I feel like it shouldn't do too much because vibrant visuals is something else. But I just have to keep in mind that vibrant visuals is not what the pack is doing.Whoa. Okay. Oh, okay. Wow. That's very different. Now thing is so these would have to be by the pack because this is all slightly different. So it is volumetric. Like wow. Okay. I don't know how to describe this but like everything has like a 3Dness to it. It just looks like too— I mean it's pixelated but like this is really cool. It's really foggy. I just saw three foxes come out of nowhere but let's just go somewhere else. Let's go somewhere where it's not snowy. Let's just fly. Wow. Okay, Minecraft has changed a lot.A lot with vibrant visuals. Wow, look at this. Okay, there we are. We are out of the snow. This looks amazing. This actually looks amazing. Now, I feel like this is just vibrant visuals. I feel like I'm being biased, but just the look of everything is so nice. Everything's like shiny and like reflective. Let's just try spawning in like a crafting table. Yes.Okay. So, everything definitely is different because a crafting table certainly does not look like that. Wow, it's reflective as well. I don't know how to show that. Like, it's reflective. Again, I have no clue if this is vibrant visuals or not. Glow stone. Okay. Not right. I'm trying to look at like this looks like it will be 3D. That's what it look like. It will be 3D. Wow. It's like reflective as well. And it's really cool.Okay. So, my take on this pack is that it keeps everything like similar but like 3D and shiny cuz I know the these aren't remodeled. That's like a normal chicken in the new update. But that's nuts.Okay, we're going to have to check out water because I know water will change everything. I'm sorry. I picked an axelottle bucket. You can't really see the water, but I mean, that's kind of the point, I think. Yeah. So, like, wow. It's like glass. Like, it's glassy. Oh, everything goes spooky when you go inside the water. It's got like a weird distorted effect, but like again, it's so hard to see. Like, there's water. Is this water? Yeah. Okay. Wait. So that's water. It Oh, okay. That's kind of cool, actually. So, it's got like waves, but it's just weird. Like this pack. I would be expecting if you're paying a lot of money, I think it's like 15 Australian dollars, you would expect it to look different. I have no clue if this is vibrant visuals or not. Anyway, this is super cool.If you did enjoy this review of this texture pack, please leave a like and subscribe. I think it's cool. I have to compare it to like normal vibrant visuals because I have actually no clue what the difference is. But this actually does look pretty sick.So have an awesome day everyone.
